SAS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT CHARGE (SDSC)
- We charge a one-off fee for our SAS Development Support Charge (SDSC). POA
- The SDSC charge includes one development USB licence key, and full on-line access to our documentation, state diagrams, downloads and test harness. The source code of the test harness, written in C++, is also supplied, showing how the module is intended to be used, parts of which many of our clients have simply been able to paste into their games. In addition, the one-off SDSC charge also includes all technical support, as detailed below.
- Inclusive of one USB licence key containing demonstration code.
- Inclusive of on-going Technical Support (Subject to Fair Usage Policy).
SAS LICENCE
- Thereafter, for each SAS enabled machine/EGM/player position you will require one Blue Alpha SAS licence.
- Each Blue Alpha SAS licence is supplied as one USB licence key.
- No minimum order quantity (MOQ) is applicable.
- Price breaks are available for quantity purchases.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
- We do not charge clients for on-going technical support. As stated above, all on-going technical support is inclusive of the Blue Alpha SDSC one-off charge.
- No annual technical support contracts/charges are imposed.
- We understand that each SAS integration is different, and SAS is not an off-the-shelf solution, therefore we can work with your software team and assist with the integration process as you develop your product line and customer base.
- The Fair Usage Policy deems that Blue Alpha will assist clients with integration of our Blue Alpha SAS module, however we are not responsible for our support team to write a client’s SAS environment or integration to a client game.
- Technical Support is defined as:
- Remote support desk available.
- Support outside of our local office hours may sometimes be deemed appropriate by Blue Alpha, however this is at our discretion, and at no additional charge to the client.
- Functionality updates.
- Firmware updates.
- Product documentation.

FURTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Blue Alpha reserve to the right to increase licence pricing, by giving three months’ written notice. Any orders formally received during the notice period will be charged at the previous licence fee.
- In the event of the USB licence key failure, that is not client related damage, Blue Alpha will replace the USB key, including one SAS licence, within 30 days following receipt of the damaged hardware for two years after purchase.
- For any damage to the USB licence key, that is deemed to be client damage, a replacement will be charged for at the current price plus shipping costs.
- Blue Alpha Development Support Charge (SDSC) is not transferable between clients.
- If a client has multiple geographical locations developing with the Blue Alpha SAS, then a further SAS Development Support Charge will be applied to the client.
- Blue Alpha USB licence keys are not transferrable between clients, unless agreed in writing by Blue Alpha.
- During GLI, BMM or other approvals, clients may wish Blue Alpha support to be available on that time zone, by prior arrangement, either on-hand (remotely) or on-site (subject to day rate/expenses agreement).
- Source code and IP remains the property of Blue Alpha Limited.
- All pricing is quoted in US$ dollars.
- Payment terms – Payment on order. A pro-forma invoice will be sent upon receipt of a formal PO.
- Pricing excludes shipping (INCOTERM: Ex-Works/EXW) and local tax.
- All sales are final.
SAS ANALYZER
- The annual licence fee will be charged by pro-forma invoice, in advance, for each 12-month rolling period. POA
- The annual licence activates on the 1st day of the next calendar month, following receipt of hardware by the client.
- The annual licence fee will be fixed for the duration of the agreement with the client, subject to no lapse in the annual fee being renewed on time.
- If a client orders additional licences that initiate a quantity discount, any existing annual licence fees will be adjusted accordingly to reflect the discounted pricing, at the time of their annual renewal.
- The SAS Analyzer hardware remains the property of Blue Alpha during the term of the licence agreement.
- In the event of SAS Analyzer hardware failure, that is not client related damage, Blue Alpha will replace the hardware within 30 days following receipt of the damaged hardware and adjust the support licence renewal date accordingly.
- Any damage to the SAS Analyzer hardware, that is deemed to be client damage, replacement SAS Analyzer hardware will be charged for.
- The client may wish to cancel the licence agreement at any time, in writing, prior to the start of each annual licence period.
- Upon cancellation of the licence agreement, the SAS Analyzer hardware must be returned to Blue Alpha, at the expense of the client, within 30 days of the annual licence expiring. In the event of the SAS Analyzer hardware not being not returned, a fee will become payable immediately.
- SAS Analyzer hardware/licence agreements are not transferrable between clients, unless agreed in writing by Blue Alpha.
- Technical support by Blue Alpha is included in the annual licence fee (subject to our fair usage policy).
- Technical Support is defined as:
- Remote set up and initialisation of the SAS Analyzer/datalogger hardware.
- Product training (remote).
- Design of new reporting scripts.
- Testing criteria script design.
- Support/assistance with reports/data logging analysis.
- Functionality updates.
- Firmware updates.
- Product documentation.
- Dedicated technical support email.
